NASCAR Clashes From Bowman

NASCAR Clashes From Bowman

What a night for NASCAR on Saturday night in Winston Salem, North Carolina at Bowman Gray Stadium. In the end, it was Chase Elliot, who with the win, earned the starting position for the Sunday Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium which can be seen on Fox starting at  8 pm.

In the second heat, we watched Chris Buescher outlast Chase Briscoe, and Shane van Gisberghen also earn a top position in the Clash. In addition to Elliot and Buscher, fans will see Heat 3 and 4 winners Denny Hamlin and Tyler Reddick start from the third and fourth positions on Sunday night.

We feel the need to also inform you that the top five drivers from each heat advance to the Sunday event. In heat one, joining Elliot, we have Brad Keselowski, Noah Gragson, Kyle Busch, and Ross Chastain. From heat two along with Buscher, we will see Chase Briscoe, Shane van Gisberghen, Bubba Wallace, and Daniel Suarez.

In heat three, Hamlin will be joined by Joey Logano, William Byron, Carson Hocevar, and Alex Bowman. To close from Saturday night, we saw Reddick win and he will be joined by Christopher Bell, Ryan Preece, Austin Cindric, and Todd Gilliland

The remaining 19 drivers will be decided to compete for the final two spots in a last-chance qualifier which will precede the Sunday night main event. The 23rd position will be awarded to the driver with the highest number of 2024 championship points not already qualified for the Clash. This driver is Ryan Blaney who finished 10th after a third starting position in the first heat. He was the beneficiary of some wild racing that featured three cautions in 25 short laps.

We will have more as we have much more happening on Sunday from Winston-Salem.

NASCAR season is here, folks!
