Saturday’s showdown at Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium marked a pivotal moment for the University of Memphis baseball team and their new head coach Matt Riser, as they secured a hard-fought 7-4 victory over Jacksonville State to level the series. Riser relished his first triumph leading the Tigers, an accomplishment that also represents the 321st win of his notable career.
